has anyone took a second to check out the cars that will be in the 2008 deathrace movie? I personally believe all the cars are B-A but the bmw 735I looks insane this movie is going to be sick. Also i was looking at these vehicles when i came across this site that allows you to take pics of your own car and put weapons, armor, and a bunch of other cool stuff on your vehicle. The sight is (ride. deathracemovie .net)(no spaces) for those of you who are interested

The sight is On, I'm going to take pictures of the Jeep tomorrow. I think we should have a contest and see who could be the first person to post a Yugo on the sight. And no Photo Shoping. You have to be in the Yugo. No wait standing next to the Yugo, but you can Super Impose Tyrese or Jason Stathman. With all that said, it'll be good to watch a movie where people try to drive around and kill one another. I'm tired of all those flying freaks in the air. Done tired. Just for kicks....favorite car chase scene. Frech Connection 1.

I know this is sort of off topic but before In realy do armor up my car like the cars of Death Race and take on all of those who still are on their cell phone while driving in Sunny L.A. I have a suggestion. And everyone take heed. Join triple A. or AAA. And avoid the DMV at all costs. While we watch this economy and world go to shite or while we're all watch the olympics and or waiting for DEATH RACE to premier. I suggest you make an appointment to go to the DMV. If you'r eto stubborn to join AAA. I was in line for three hours, Count them, 1, 2, 3. I know a lot of you are going to add salt tom the wound by  add to what i sop painfully figured out. But for those who don't mind unsolicited advice. Avoid the DMV at all costs. *** it just let Jason Statham do the driving for the rest of the Summer. And I'm still wearing white after Labor Day beeyatches.

There are few movies that come along, that have the structure to become a cult classic especially in this day and age. With everything being fingertip accessible. But I would like to submit Death Race as that movie. A late summer movie low on the radar of Hollywood's on slaught. Actors closer to the atmosphere. A premise familiar, but on we could easily reimagine. And quiet in it's approach. With all of what's going on as the end of Summer nears,  a movie about cars and weapons broadens the summer horizon just a little bit longer. And then there's the movie goer. The one who decides to see this movie. Finds a statement in it that they share and that's shared as well. Until pretty soon you have people gathered to recite the dialouge together. And create a cult classic.....Death Race is that movie................I hope that's what you guys were talking about.

There are some of you who may think me mad for comparing the two, but here I am doing so. Death Proof and Death Race......ok, some may say no comparison. But after watching Death Proof for the first time on dvd, i found my voice again. You have to love movies where the car exists as a metaphor for freedom, and imprisonment. Where the need for a ride and risk we take rididng and or driving are so evident in this day and age. It's amazing that we let a couple of line on black ASPHAULT keep us safe. Americans have so often define themselves by their vehicles, and/or there appreciation of them. I thought Death Proof's use of the car as our cage, our shelter, our weapon, our identiy, and more was brilliant. Now we have a movie with over accessorised cars, weapons of choice. And we get to watch and see what that says about us and our culture. I can't wait.
