Hello everyone. I have a 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5. I used to have an AEM cold air system until my car started to give me problems. First, check engine light came on, code was reading the cat converter. Then the car would shut off when I would try to accelerate( 1st gear) Took it to dealer, they showed me the check engine code was reading faulty air mass sensor and cat converter. Could the AEM system have played a part with the faulty air mass sensor?

thats just the chip that companies must put into newer vehicles to confirm with emission restrictions, if you modify it in any major way the chip basically shuts the car down
if you upgrade your chip you shouldnt get those kinds of problems
