turbo timer malfunctoin????

i have an apexi pen style turbo timer and i have it all hooked up. i know i did it correctally because it wont work any other way. i have had other mechanics look at but they cant see anyhting either. when i pull the keys from the ingnition it begins the count down. once it reaches zero the engine misses one fire and keeps running?? the count down starts over and it repeats over and over till some one notices my car still running when it should be off. it does that about 60% of the time

never mind it was just a shitty timer. got a new one and it works perfectally. thanks
