idle

whats up guys.ok i just rebuilt my head on my awd talon..every thing is back together and she will start right up timing is good and every thing is good so fare...but the car will idle kind of hard.when its cold it will idle nice but then when it warms up its not the best it dose not surge up and down and i dont hear any mis fire..but all my vac lines im not to sure if they are all on where they are supposed to be..my car is a 90 so its different..when i drive the car its runs great it revs all the way to 7000rpm.its only when im at idle..and the car is at 900 to 1000 rpm idle..

i was thinking if my knock sensor is not plugged in will it make the car run funning and idle hard the way it dose??cause i do not have my knock sensor in right now..the reason why i need to get a new one..i just ordered one off STM..but any ways im not to sure why the car idles like that can some one help me fix this.....
